Yes, participants are required to complete a waiver to engage in event activities.
All participants will fill out their waiver upon entrance on the day of the tournament. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the process before check-in.
Yes, practice courts will be available for participants on the day of the event. You can access the practice courts from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm. This designated time slot allows you to warm up and prepare for the main activities. Please plan accordingly to make the most of this opportunity.
Yes, spectators are welcome to attend the tournament.
The venue provides all players with paddles and balls for use during the tournament. However, if you prefer to use your own equipment, you are welcome to bring it.
The tournament schedule is as follows:
Warm-Up and Registration: 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm.
Tournament Play: 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm (2.5 hours of play).
Awards and Wrap-Up: 4:00 pm, with the tournament concluding around 4:30 pm.
Please plan your day accordingly to fully enjoy the event.
Matches are scheduled based on self-ranked skill levels at the time of registration. Participants must select their skill level—Beginner (3.0), Intermediate (3.5), or Advanced (4.0). The tournament features three separate brackets, with winners in each skill level. Here's the match structure:
Skill Levels: Beginner (3.0), Intermediate (3.5), Advanced (4.0).
Seeding Rounds: Three games of round robin within each skill level for seeding.
Tournament Play: Single elimination tournament bracket in each skill level.
The venue will manage the brackets on the day of the event, adjusting as needed based on the number of participants in each skill set.
We follow the official rules set by the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA). A copy of the rules can be found here.
Yes, there will be a variety of finger foods, snacks, water, and soda available beginning at 12 pm.
Additionally, adult beverages will be available for purchase at the player's cost.

About Camp Rainbow Gold

Camp Rainbow Gold gives kids a chance to take a break from cancer—a break from doctor appointments, hospital visits, and the stress and fear that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

Camp Rainbow Gold also is a place where everyone “gets” it. This is where kids can be kids without worrying if they will be understood or accepted. They don’t have to explain what it’s like to have cancer. Siblings don’t have to explain what it’s like to have a sibling with cancer.

Cancer also takes a financial toll on families. That’s why all Camp Rainbow Gold programs are free. They are led by volunteers and are funded by the generous donations of community members, foundations, and businesses.
